looking for an experienced Electrical Production Technician/Engineer
The Electrical Production Technician will work as part of the
Production Team, to carry out electrical and (where competent)
mechanical preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on all
plant and equipment within his/her scope, to achieve optimum product
and service quality as demanded by our client and its customers.
Specific tasks assigned to the Electrical Production Technician will
include:
? Execution of the daily, weekly, monthly etc. preventative
maintenance tasks
? Updating the preventative maintenance system (LMS)
? Initiating effective repairs to restore plant function in the
event of breakdown
? Liaising with other shifts, Technicians, Team Leaders and Managers
to ensure smooth operation of the plant and equipment
_QUALIFICATIONS_ and
SKILLS:
? Hold a recognised Electrical/Electronic qualification
? Likely to have further training and qualifications in
instrumentation, automation, PLC programming
? Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting automated equipment,
including electrical and PC control systems
? PC literate in the mainstream application packages
Knowledge of manroland web press equipment would be an advantage
